Ethibond Excel Suture, UCL, Size 2/0, Green, 27" is a sterile, nonabsorbable surgical suture composed of braided polyester fibers. The suture is coated with a polybutilate compound that enhances its handling characteristics. This coating acts as a lubricant, reducing tissue drag and improving knot security while maintaining minimal tissue reactivity. 

The suture features a taper point needle, which is designed to penetrate and spread tissue fibers without cutting them.
